Abstract:
A baffle plate (50) is provided with: a body section (51) installed so as to separate a differential gear (9) and an oil sump section (13); a first gutter section (61) for conducting oil to a control chamber (30), the oil having been carried up within a machine chamber (10) by the differential gear (9); a cutout (56) for defining a connection path (20) between the baffle plate (50) and a side surface (3b) of a casing (3), the connection path (20) being formed in a lower outer peripheral rib (55) and causing oil to flow from the control chamber (30) into the machine chamber (10); a through-hole (57) formed on the outer peripheral side of an opening (52) in the body section (51); and a second gutter section (63) for guiding oil to a shaft support section (9a), the oil having been carried up by the differential gear (9) and passed through the through-hole (57). The configuration reduces resistance to the stirring of oil by the differential gear, prevents the suction of air into an oil suction opening within the control chamber, and increases the flow rate of lubricating oil supplied to the shaft support section of the differential gear.
