Abstract:
This invention relates to an impact absorbing bag for an automobile, that is, an air bag, consisting of circular seamless woven fabric bag bodies (1) which comprises an annular non-hollow-weave part (B1) formed around a circular hollow weave part (B2), is at least partially covered with a polymer film (2) on the surface thereof and has gas inlets (3) on one of its surfaces. The bag body (1) can be prepared by cutting circularly a woven fabric having the weave parts (B2) formed in succession. The bag may be turned inside out so that its inside and outside are reversed.
