Abstract:
Provided is a bag-making packaging machine whereby the filling rate of articles can be increased even downstream from a lateral sealing mechanism. This bag-making packaging machine packages articles (A) discharged from an article discharge machine in a bag (W) obtained by molding a film into a tubular shape. The bag-making packaging machine comprises a lateral sealing mechanism, a movement mechanism, and a control unit. The lateral sealing mechanism performs a first operation for pinching a film from a direction (horizontal direction H) intersecting with a direction of conveyance and sealing the film. The movement mechanism moves the lateral sealing mechanism. The control unit controls the movement mechanism and causes a vibration operation to be executed for vibrating the lateral sealing mechanism having completed the first operation and imparting vibration to the articles (A) in a film tube (FT).
