Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a baggage checking/reception device and a baggage checking/reception program with which a user such as a traveler can smoothly check baggage in the vicinity of a stopover site such as a tourist site.
[Solution] A baggage checking/reception device 1 installed in a service window location C and comprising a storage unit 2, an input unit 3, a control unit 4, and an output unit 5. The storage unit 2 stores checking information for one or more checking boxes D each of which is installed in one or more checking locations B belonging to the service window location C. The input unit 3 is capable of inputting a checking time period for checked baggage and baggage information. The control unit 4 references the storage unit 2 and extracts, from the one or more checking boxes D installed respectively in one or more checking locations B, a checking box D available for the checking time period and baggage information that have been input. The output unit 5 outputs an electronic key that enables unlocking and locking of the extracted checking box D.
