Abstract:
Disclosed are a baggage-transporting apparatus and a baggage-transporting method using same. The baggage-transporting apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a discharge unit which discharges the transported baggage; a conveyor which conveys the baggage discharged from the discharge unit along an endless conveyor belt; a first reader arranged at the discharge unit for transceiving information to/from an RFID tag attached to the baggage; a second reader arranged at the conveyor for transceiving information to/from the RFID tag attached to the baggage; a determining unit which determines, by means of the first reader, whether or not the baggage has been discharged, and determines, by means of the second reader, the presence and location of the baggage on the conveyor; and a display unit which displays whether or not the baggage has been discharged, and the presence and location of the baggage determined by the determining unit.
