Abstract:
Provided are: a manufacturing method in which a baked confectionery having a rich flavour and a light mouthfeel can easily be mass-produced, and can be supplied inexpensively; and the baked confectionery obtained by said method. A mixture containing butterscotch and sliced almonds (4) is moulded into a sheet-shaped dough (7) in a manner such that the sliced almonds (4) within the mixture align in a substantially horizontal state. The sheet-shaped dough (7) is cut apart into individual pieces of butterscotch dough (9) by cutting along cutting lines (10) orthogonal to the direction in which the sheet is spread. Thereafter, the individual pieces of butterscotch dough (9) are: arranged into a state in which the sliced almonds (4) contained therein are upright by orientating a cut surface (11) of the butterscotch dough (9) upwards such that the cut surface (11) becomes the upper surface; and baked in said state.
