Abstract:
The embodiments of the invention disclose a balanced charging circuit of serial batteries and an apparatus thereof. The circuit comprises: a control unit, a switch unit, a detection unit, a voltage detection unit and a switching unit. A detector of the detection unit is used for detecting voltages at the two ends of a power element. The voltage detection unit is used for detecting a voltage of each battery in a battery pack. The control unit is used for calculating a charging current of a charging path between a power supply device and the battery pack according to the voltages at the two ends of the power element detected by the detector, and for transmitting a disconnection control signal when the charging current is greater than a pre-set current value or the voltage of each battery detected by the voltage detection unit is greater than a pre-set voltage value. The switch unit is used for disconnecting the charging path between the power supply device and the battery pack according to the disconnection control signal. The switching unit is used for switching the number of batteries performing charging in the battery pack. According to the invention, the balanced charging circuit of the serial batteries and the apparatus thereof have simple structure, low cost, and high reliability and safety.
