Abstract:
Balancer shafts 5, 6 rotatably supported by bearings 11-14 and an oil pump 2 driven by the power from the balancer shafts 5, 6 are provided inside a balancer housing, wherein oil discharged from a discharge port 42 of the oil pump 2 is supplied to a main oil gallery 10 via a discharge path 48. A bearing filter 55, which filters a portion of the oil, is provided in the discharge path 48 from the discharge port 42, and a communication path 50, which branches from the discharge path 48 and communicates with the bearings, is supplied with the portion of the oil filtered by the bearing filter 55. Thus, reductions in the durability of the bearing part can be suppressed by filtering the oil supplied to the bearing part.
