Abstract:
This ball bearing retainer (6) has two synthetic resin annular bodies (10, 10) that overlap each other in an axial direction. Each annular body (10) has: a plurality of semispherical pocket wall parts (13) arranged at predetermined intervals in a circumferential direction and each constituting an inner wall surface of a pocket holding a ball; and a plurality of connection plate parts (14) connecting adjacent pocket wall parts (13) to each other in the circumferential direction, wherein the two annular bodies (10, 10) overlap each other and are joined to each other by the connection plate parts (14). A notch part (7) is provided on the inner diameter surface of the pocket wall part (13) such that the band width, which is a radial dimension of the pocket wall part (13), is smaller than the radial dimension of the connection plate part (14).
