Abstract:
A ball coupling comprises a driving member (1), a plurality of balls (2) and a driven member (3), wherein the opposite faces, for connecting the driving member (1) and driven member (3), which a gap (5) is provided there between, have concave and convex which face staggeringly to each other, each of said balls (2) with a diameter larger than the gap (5) is disposed in a rolling slot (4) which is formed in the side of the concave and convex. The ball coupling of the invention has some advantages, such as, large load capacity, high efficiency in anti-shock, adaptable to couple two shafts which have larger crossing angle of their axes, insensitive to the alignment of the two coupled shafts, long service life and so on.
