Title:
BALL DISTRIBUTING MECHANISM FOR GAMES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/006224
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention patent relates to a ball distributing mechanism in which each ball exhibits an identification and is used instead of playing cards, in order to provide an automated card game, such as blackjack, otherwise known as twenty-one, or poker, or any other card game, simulating a croupier during such games in a gambling house or casino. The aim of the present patent is to provide an equipment that simulates the physical distribution of cards by means of balls exhibiting on the outside thereof the suit and number or figure of a card. Another aim of the new mechanism is to provide security means that ensure that the balls are retrieved in a closed circuit during the game, so as to prevent the illicit withdrawal or insertion of the balls. Another aim is to demonstrate physically the distribution of the cards to each player by means of a movable arm that is positioned before each player and releases balls previously retrieved by a random system. Another aim is to lower costs by dispensing with a croupier. Another aim is to provide a game mechanism in which the players can see the balls being moved and distributed, but only have access to the balls distributed to him or herself. Another aim is to provide means for transmitting information from the distributed balls to a computer system that enables each player to view the course of the game on displays.
