Abstract:
The present invention achieves a ball screw device that has a reduced number of components and thus can achieve increased assemblability even when adopting a structure which rotationally drives a screw shaft via a planetary speed reducing mechanism. A screw shaft (2) has a screw portion (10) that has a spirally-shaped shaft-side ball screw groove (12) in the outer peripheral surface, and carrier (11) that is formed integrally with the screw portion (10) and forms a planetary speed reducing mechanism (7). An inner ring raceway (14) that forms a rolling bearing (5) for rotationally supporting the carrier (11) is directly formed in the outer peripheral surface of the carrier (11).
