Abstract:
The ball screw device (120), which has a screw shaft (103) and a nut (101) that is screwed on the screw shaft (103) via multiple balls (106), comprises: a lubricant-containing body (108) that contacts the outer circumferential surface of the screw shaft (103) and supplies lubricant; and a heat generation-reducing mechanism for reducing heat generation in the lubricant-containing body (108). As a result, it is possible to reduce friction-induced heat generation in the lubricant-containing body that contacts the screw shaft. In particular, it is possible to limit frictional heat even in high speed, high load uses and to provide a ball screw device with which stable, long term supply of lubricant is possible.
