Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a ball screw device wherein rotation of a nut that is a linear movement element can be stopped using a small number of components, and thus a reduction in manufacturing cost can be achieved. [Solution] A radially inside section of a rotation-stopping member 7 that prevents rotation of a nut 3 relative to a housing 6 is positioned inside a retention recess 19 while sandwiched between a blocking surface 20 of the same and an end surface 5x, which is on one side in the axial direction of a piston 5 fixed to the nut 3 by external fitting, said retention recess 19 being provided in an outer circumferential surface of the nut 3. A radially outside section of the rotation-stopping member 7 is positioned, in a manner allowing sliding in the axial direction, inside a guidance recess groove 24 that is provided in an inner circumferential surface of a cylinder hole 8 of the housing 6.
