Abstract:
The ball screw device of the present disclosure comprises a screw shaft having an outer peripheral raceway surface provided on the outer peripheral surface, a nut into which the screw shaft is inserted and which has an inner peripheral raceway surface provided on the inner peripheral surface, a plurality of balls placed in a raceway between the outer peripheral raceway surface and the inner peripheral raceway surface, and at least one segment provided with an S-form groove surface allowing the balls to circulate. The outer peripheral surface of the screw shaft is provided with a recess that is recessed radially inward and that accommodates the segment, and viewed from the radially outer side of the screw shaft, the inner peripheral surface of the recess and the outer peripheral surface of the segment are non-circular.
