Abstract:
In the proposed ball-and-socket joint connection comprising, for example, a ball head (3) of a piston rod (2) and the piston (5) with an insert (6), a means (7) is provided to prevent the axial displacement of the insert (6) in relation to the piston (5), which consists of a split locking ring (8) and a retaining ring (9). The split locking ring (8) consists of three segments, each having in its cross-section the form of a rectangle trapezoid. The said ring (8) is located inside an annular groove (15) provided in the body of the piston (5). The retaining ring (9) is located between the insert (6) and the split locking ring (8). The internal surface of the retaining ring (9) is provided with protrusions (17), a part of which interacts with the internal surface of the ring (8).
