Abstract:
A ball valve (100) for a fermentation tank and a fermentation tank having the ball valve (100). The ball valve (100) comprises: a body (10), inside of which a chamber (11) is enclosed and a first inlet (12) and a first outlet (13) are provided, the side wall of the body (10) being provided with a liquid discharge port (14); a ball (20), rotatably provided in the chamber (11) of the body (10) and provided therein with a flow channel (21) which passes through the ball, both ends of the flow channel (21) respectively forming a second inlet (22) and a second outlet (23), the ball (20) being further provided with a liquid intake port (24) which is in communication with the flow channel (21), a gap being formed between the ball (20) and the inner wall of the chamber (11); and a rotation mechanism, connected to the ball (20) and configured such that when the ball (20) is positioned in an opening position, the second inlet (22) is in communication with the first inlet (12), the second outlet (23) is in communication with the first outlet (13), and the liquid intake port (24) faces toward the gap and is in communication with the gap, and when the ball (20) is positioned in a cleaning position, both the second inlet (22) and the second outlet (23) face toward the gap, and the liquid intake port (24) is in communication with the first inlet (12). The described structure ensures the inside of the ball valve (100) does not accumulate any residue and dirt and the waste liquid left over from washing can be discharged via the liquid discharge port (14), preventing the fermentation tank from becoming polluted.
