A ball valve for opening and/or closing a valve by rotating a ball valve disc (2) which is in engagement with a spindle (5) by rotating the spindle (5), characterized in that a top flange (7) is integrally provided at a neck portion (4) of a valve main body, the flange (7) being adapted to be used for mounting an actuator as well as a handle.
