Abstract:
Provided is a ball valve which makes it possible to suppress increased processing work and to reliably prevent corotation of a ball seat and a ball when the ball is rotated by operation of a handle. A main body (2) is formed by a hard material such as stainless steel, and a ball seat (4) is formed by a relatively soft material such as a fluororesin. A protrusion (18) able to bite into the ball seat (4) is formed on a ball seat receiving surface (13) of the main body (2) which is made of a hard material.
