Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a ball which bounces even when the interior of the ball is not filled with compression air that is equal to or greater than atmospheric pressure. [Solution] Multiple concave parts (4, 14) are formed on the inner wall surface of multiple divided bodies (1, 11), which are configured from a soft material comprising resin or rubber, so as to be surrounded by multiple linear convex parts (3, 13) in the form of triangles or geometric shapes other than triangles. As a consequence, the convex parts exert the same function as a winder, the ball has an even hardness all around, and the ball can be used as a ball even if a surface body that is formed as a separate entity from the divided bodies (1, 11) is or is not attached to the outer wall surface of the ball. Meanwhile, the ball can be easily used as a ball even if the surface body is or is not attached because divided edge parts, which are circular openings on the divided bodies (1, 11), or flanges (5, 15) provided to the divided edge parts do not protrude to the outside of the outer wall surface of the ball because the divided edge parts or the flanges are welded or adhered to one another.
