Abstract:
The present invention relates to a ballast water sterilization device and particularly to a sterilization device using ultraviolet light-emitting diodes and having improved cooling efficiency, the ballast water sterilization device comprising ultraviolet sterilizers for killing microorganisms, pathogenic bacteria, or the like present in ballast water, wherein the ultraviolet sterilizers comprise a body unit on which the ultraviolet light-emitting diodes are installed, and at least a part of the outer surface of the body unit is cooled by the ballast water.
