Abstract:
The present invention relates to a balloon unit for endoscopic papillary dilation which has an enhanced structure to suppress the occurrence of pain in a patient, damage to tissue, or the like, resulting from pressure applied by a calculus present in the biliary tract to a bile duct wall due to balloon dilation, in a process of dilation of the papilla arranged on the path from the duodenum to the biliary tract. The balloon unit is configured such that a sticking prevention groove can be formed which, while a connection portion and a sliding portion are operated along with dilation of a balloon portion of a sticking inhibition unit, allows a calculus to be accommodated therebetween, and thus has the effect of remarkably suppressing pain in a patient or damage to tissue, which are problems resulting from a calculus being stuck between a balloon and the bile duct wall in a balloon dilation process.
