Abstract:
This bamboo powder-containing molded article is constituted to include a scaly bamboo powder, which has holes derived from vascular bundles and contains fermented lactic acid bacteria. A binder is also preferably included, and the scaly bamboo powder overlaps in layers in the thickness direction. The method for producing the molded article includes: a sheet-like material forming step in which the scaly bamboo powder, which has holes derived from vascular bundles and contains fermented lactic acid bacteria, and a bamboo powder dispersion liquid containing water, are used, and a sheet-like material containing the scaly bamboo powder, which contains fermented lactic acid bacteria, is formed by a sheet making method; and a primary molding step in which moisture is removed from the sheet-like material to produce a primary molded article. In addition, a secondary molding step may be included to produce a secondary molded article by hot pressing the primary molded article.
