Abstract:
Provided are a bamboo powder manufacturing apparatus and a bamboo powder manufacturing method that enable suppression of a crack in the stem material of a bamboo as an object to be processed. One end of a stem material 101 is supported by a support part 20, and the other end thereof is placed in a pulverization part. The one end of the stem material 101 is accommodated in a concave part 24 provided on the support part 20. The concave part 24 is provided with an insertion part 26. The insertion part 26 has a cone part 27 and is inserted in a cavity at the one end of the stem material 101. The internal circumference edge at the one end of the stem material 101 comes in contact with the inclined surface of the cone part 27 to put the one end of the stem material 101 in a semi-fixed state. When the concave part 24 rotates, the stem material 101 also rotates and at the same time the support part 20 and the pulverization part come close to each other, whereby the stem material 101 is pulverized from the other end thereof.
