Abstract:
A band allocation device provided with: a request information acquisition unit for acquiring request information that indicates the requested amount of band allocation using a communication line separated from a data line used for data communication; a determination unit for determining, on the basis of the request information, whether or not band allocation to a terminating device so as to enable data to be transmitted within a designated time is possible; and a band allocation amount determination unit which, when it is determined that band allocation to a terminating device is not possible, specifies some of terminating devices, for which band allocation so as to enable data to be transmitted within a designated time is possible, determines an amount of band allocation to the specified terminating device, and allocates the determined amount of band allocation to the specified terminating device.
