Abstract:
The present invention reduces the dimension by which a wire harness fitted with a band clamp protrudes from a vehicle body panel surface, and increases the force by which a band holds the wire harness. The top wall of a main body is formed from the plate of a clamp; a band through-hole passing through in a left-right direction is enclosed by the top wall, a bottom wall, and front and rear walls; an interlocking protuberance is made to protrude toward the band through-hole from the bottom wall or the top wall; the interlocking protuberance is selectively locked with an interlocking groove provided to the band; the center of the locking position and the center of the position in which the clamp is fixed to a vehicle body are positioned on the same line; and a wire harness pressure piece inclined downward towards the entrance of the band through-hole protrudes in a displaceable manner at the bottom ends of the outer surfaces of the front and rear walls of the main body. Furthermore, the band has a configuration in which a curved part is provided to a portion of the main body continuous with the peripheral edge of the exit of the band through-hole, the bottom wall of the main body is kept in close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the wire harness on which the band is wound and held, and the wire harness pressure piece and the curved part of the band are kept in close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the wire harness in continuation with the left and right sides of the bottom wall.
