Abstract:
A band sawing machine, comprising a pair of saw blade guides (27F) and (27M) capable of running and guiding a band saw blade (9) therethrough. A front insert (59) is fixedly fitted and a rear insert (77) is longitudinally movably fitted to the tips of the saw blade guides. The band sawing machine is characterized in that the rear insert (77) is swung by the drive force of a cylinder (91) while utilizing the principle of leverage to move the rear insert (77) close to and away from the front insert (59) so as to guide the band saw blade (9).
