Abstract:
A band spreading device (1) comprises first generating means (111, 121) for generating a baseband signal (xB(n))by up-sampling the input signal (x(n)) and passing the up-sampled signal through a lowpass filter, second generating means (21) for generating a high-frequency region signal (xH(n)) from a band limiting signal (xb(n)) which is the signal component in a predetermined band out of the baseband signal and a phase signal (xh(n)) which is the signal produced by shifting the phase of the band limiting signal by approximately π/2, and third generating means (141) for generating an output signal (xE(n)) by adding the high-frequency region signal to the baseband signal.
