Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the work load when stretching a band part of a binding band. This band stretching device 100 is for stretching a belt-shaped band part 92 of a binding band 90. The band stretching device 100 is provided with a band gripping unit 30 which includes: a rotational body 32 at one side which is capable of rotating around a rotational shaft 320, and has an outer circumferential surface which comes into contact with one main surface of the band part 92; and a rotational body 34 at another side which comes into contact with another main surface of the band part 92. The band gripping unit 30 grips the band part 92 between the rotational body 32 at the one side and the rotational body 34 at the other side. Furthermore, the band stretching device 100 is provided with: a rotation driving unit 40 for rotating the rotational body 32 at the one side; a pair of guide rails 50, 50 which guide the rotational body 32 of the band gripping unit 30 at the one side so as to enable movement thereof along a stretching direction D1; a pair of elastic members 60, 60 which impel, in the stretching direction D1, the rotational body 32 at the one side; and a cutting part 70 which cuts the band part 92 when the pair of elastic members 60, 60 reach a predetermined length L1.
