Abstract:
Provided is a band for a wire harness, said band having improved retaining ability with respect to lengthwise (horizontal) slippage or circumferential rotation of the bound wire harness. A band part (5) comprises: a band base end (6) connected to a buckle part (2); and a main band body (9) in which a series of locking grooves (10) that are engaged by a locking piece (4) in a band through-hole (3) are provided at prescribed intervals in the lengthwise direction. The side of the band base end (6) that makes contact with the wire harness (W/H) is provided with protruding trapezoidal wire-holding ridges (7) in the lengthwise direction of the band base end (6). Each wire-holding ridge (7) has a wave-shaped protruding edge, with a series of valleys (8A), which protrude less from the band base end (6), and hills (8B), which protrude more from the band base end (6), alternating in the long direction of said wire-holding ridge (7), and each wire-holding ridge (7) is provided with at least three hills (8B) in the lengthwise direction thereof.
