Abstract:
Provided is a bandpass filter having achieved improved attenuation characteristics. A first elastic wave resonator is formed with a first base substrate type and a first electrode configuration optimum for the frequency characteristics thereof, and a second elastic wave resonator is formed with a second base substrate type and a second electrode configuration optimum for the frequency characteristics thereof. Accordingly, compared with a case where the first elastic wave resonator and the second elastic wave resonator having respectively different frequency characteristics are formed on the same type of base substrate and from electrodes formed with the same configuration, a first attenuation pole formed by the first elastic wave resonator and a second attenuation pole formed by the second elastic wave resonator can be formed more sharply, whereby a bandpass filter having achieved improved attenuation characteristics can be provided.
