BANDWIDTH REQUESTING METHOD AND RELAY STATION

In the implementation a bandwidth requesting method and a relay station RS are provided. After receiving the bandwidth requesting message sent from the previous hop network entity, the relay station RS judges whether it has available bandwidth currently. If there is available bandwidth, bandwidth requesting message is sent to the next hop network entity through the currently available bandwidth. Or ranging code requesting bandwidth allocation is sent to the next hop network entity. Then bandwidth requesting message is sent to the next hop network entity through bandwidth allocated by the uplink mapping message returned by the base station. The method in this implementation accelerates the bandwidth requesting process.
