Abstract:
A bank angle estimation device is a device for estimating the bank angle of a moving body. The device includes a data acquisition means for acquiring data generated by a GPS receiver, and a bank angle computing means for estimating the bank angle of the moving body using the data acquired by the data acquisition means. The bank angle computing means may be configured in such a manner that the bank angle of the moving body is estimated using positional data which is generated by the GPS receiver and acquired by the data acquisition means. Furthermore, the bank angle computing means may be configured in such a manner that the bank angle of the moving body is estimated using speed data and azimuth angle data, which are generated by the GPS receiver and acquired by the data acquisition means.
