Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a banknote-processing apparatus for emitting, from a portable terminal, a remote communication signal including information pertaining to electronic money or other electronic currency, and saving/accumulating the electronic currency information in a storage saving device of a banknote storage device via a banknote-sorting device. [Solution] In the present invention, a banknote-processing apparatus has: a banknote-sorting device (1) having an interface (80) for receiving electronic currency information from a portable terminal (70), and a sorting transmission/reception device (3) for receiving the electronic currency information transmitted from the interface (80); and a banknote storage device (2) for storing supplied banknotes assessed by the banknote-sorting device (1) to be authentic. The electronic currency information transmitted from the sorting transmission/reception device (3) of the banknote-sorting device (1) is received by a storage transmission/reception device (21) of the banknote storage device (2), and the electronic currency information ultimately transmitted from the storage transmission/reception device (21) is saved and accumulated in a storage saving device (22).
