A BAR-CODE TYPE ANTI-THEFT DEVICE FOR A STEERING WHEEL OF A VEHICLE

A bar-code type anti-theft device for a steering wheel of a vehicle, comprises a hard bar-code rod that is abnormally shaped and two separated bar-code sleeves that are connected with the steering wheel, wherein on the axial outer surface of the rod is formed with an abnormally-shaped hard bar-code, and in the lower end of the rod is formed with an axial abnormally-shaped groove. The two separated barcode sleeves are coupled with each other, forming an axial through passage in which a corresponding abnormally-shaped hard bar-code is provided. On the end surface of the steering system link is provided with an abnormally-shaped limited pole that passes the axial through passage, and on the end portion of the steering system link is provided with a connecting sleeve that is connected with the barcode sleeve. The steering system can be operated normally via the steering wheel when the abnormally-shaped hard bar-code rod is inserted into the abnormally-shaped limited pole, while when the hard bar-code rod is removed, the steering system can not be operated via the steering wheel since it is disconnected from the steering wheel, thus being protected from theft.
