Abstract:

This barrier laminate combines both water vapor barrier properties and gas barrier properties to an advanced degree, even with a small number of layers (e.g., even if the barrier layer is only a single layer), and can also reduce the amount of coating to make it possible to decrease the burden on the environment. This barrier laminate has a barrier layer on at least one surface of a paper base material, wherein the barrier layer contains hydroxy polyurethane, swellable layered silicate, and a cationic resin.
