Abstract:
The invention relates to basalt fibres containing the elements Si, AI, Fe, Mn, Ti, Ca, Mg, K, Na and O. The Si-central atom is surrounded by four oxygen atoms, and the additional elements are also surrounded by oxygen atoms in different coordinations or are at least coupled to oxygen atoms and form other structural units. The pre-oriented and/or the oriented molecule structures, in particular domains, are present in an otherwise x-ray amorphous structure.
