Abstract:
Provided are a base isolation table (1) with a damping mechanism, which has initial stiffness and is capable of protecting an object to be isolated when being acted on by vibrations without the object to be isolated wavering in a state not being acted on by vibrations, and a base isolation table unit (15) using the same that are equipped with a fixed plate (2); a guiding member (42) disposed on the fixed plate (2) in a manner enabling movement in the X-direction; a movement plate (3) disposed on the aforementioned guiding member (42) in a manner enabling movement in the Y-direction, which is orthogonal to the aforementioned X-direction; X-direction circulating belts (6) that circulate with the movement in the X-direction of the guiding member (42) on the aforementioned fixed plate (2); Y-direction circulating belts (9) that circulate with the movement in the Y-direction of the movement plate (3) on the aforementioned guiding member (42); and rotary dampers (7, 10) that are provided with rotation driven members (70, 100), which are disposed on the aforementioned fixed plate (2) and movement plate (3) while suspending and rotating the X-direction circulating belts (6) and the Y-direction circulating belts (9), and that provide resistance to the rotational motion of the aforementioned rotation driven members (70, 100).
