Abstract:
A base manufacturing process of a four-high mill, comprising the following process steps: selecting Cr steel as a raw material; performing annealing treatment on the selected Cr steel; machining the Cr steel; performing stress relieving annealing thermal treatment on the Cr steel subjected to machining; performing welding formation of the Cr steel by means of friction stir welding so as to obtain a base; performing homogenizing annealing treatment on the base obtained by welding, and then performing full annealing treatment after the base is cooled with the furnace; performing surface strengthening treatment, i.e., performing shot blasting treatment and then surface carburizing treatment on the obtained base; and coating the surface of the base subjected to the surface strengthening treatment with anti-rust oil and a finish paint. The whole base produced by the process has tenacity, but the surface has high hardness, so that in the application process of the base, even if the surface of the base cracks, the base is still complete, and the influence of the brittle failure of the base on the mill is avoided.
