Abstract:
The present invention is a base material for a coating film surface-protecting film, which is used as a coating film surface-protecting film after forming a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on a layer to be coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, wherein: (1) the base material contains 50 mass% or more of a polyethylene resin and comprises three or more layers; (2) of the pair of outermost layers, the layer to be coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive contains 50-90 mass% of a random polypropylene copolymer resin having an ethylene content of 5 mass% or less and 10-50 mass% of a homopolypropylene resin; and (3) a pressure-sensitive adhesive-uncoated layer, which is the other outermost layer, contains 90-100 mass% of a random polypropylene copolymer resin having an ethylene content of 5 mass% or less and 0-10 mass% of a homopolypropylene resin.
