Title:
BASE MATERIAL FOR FUEL-REFORMING CATALYST, AND FUEL-REFORMING CATALYST EMPLOYING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/136678
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a novel base material for a fuel-reforming catalyst, the base material making it possible to ensure ample contact iterations and contact times between a gas and catalytically active components, being convenient to handle, having high elevated-temperature properties, and not being pulverized when the catalyst pellets rub together. The proposed base material for a fuel reforming catalyst is for supporting components catalytically active in fuel reforming, the base material for a fuel reforming catalyst being characterized by having a gas inflow surface, a gas outflow surface, and peripheral side surfaces, and by having a multitude of pores communicating in branched and non-linear fashion from the gas inflow surface to reach the gas outflow surface, the porosity created by the pores being 66-99%.
