Abstract:
A base member 10 for a solar photovoltaic panel mount comprises a metal hollow rod-shaped member 1 and a filler 2 filling the interior of the hollow rod-shaped member 1, the filler 2 functioning as a counterweight. In this base member 10, the filler 2 filling the interior of the metal hollow rod-shaped member 1 functions as a counterweight, making it possible to achieve enough weight for the solar photovoltaic panel to resist being lifted by wind loads when installed on a flat roof, thereby eliminating the need for the installation work of anchoring the panel to the flat roof. The hollow rod-shaped member 1 is easy to manufacture, only needing to be filled with the filler 2 when manufactured, thus making it possible to minimize manufacturing costs.
