Abstract:
A base-modified catalyst and a method for preparing ethylene by hydrogenation of carbon monoxide. In the method, a mixed gas of carbon monoxide and hydrogen is used as a reaction raw material to carry out a conversion reaction on a fixed bed or a moving bed. The catalyst is a composite catalyst formed by compounding components A and B together by mechanical mixing, wherein the active ingredient of component A is a metal oxide, and component B is a molecular sieve with an organic base modified MOR structure. The weight ratio between the active ingredient of component A and component B is between 0.1-20, preferably 0.3-8. The reaction process has high product yield and selectivity. The C2-C3 olefin selectivity is as high as 86-92%, hydrocarbon products containing four C atoms or more are less than 7%, the selectivity of a by-product methane is extremely low (< 5%), and the selectivity and space-time yield of ethylene are significantly improved, with the selectivity reaching 75-85%, providing a good application prospect.
