A base (20), a self-cleaning method for a cleaning device (10), and a storage medium. The base (20) comprises a base water adding channel (210). One end of the base water adding channel (210) is suitable for introducing an external water source. When the base (20) is docked with the cleaning device (10), the other end of the base water adding channel (210) is docked with one end of a device water adding channel (121) in the cleaning device (10), and the other end of the device water adding channel (121) is connected to a device clear water tank (111) in the cleaning device (10). The problem that the water adding efficiency of the device clear water tank (111) in the cleaning device (10) is low can be solved. When the base (20) is docked with the cleaning device (10), the base water adding channel (210) can introduce the external water source by means of one end and guide the external water source into the device water adding channel (121) of the cleaning device (10) by means of the other end, such that water is added to the device clear water tank (111), a user does not need to dock the external water source with the device water adding channel (121), and the water adding efficiency of the device clear water tank (111) can be improved.
