Abstract:
A base station apparatus for allowing a person, who wants to communicate with
a communication terminal apparatus existing outside a communicatable area,
to estimate where the user of the communication terminal apparatus is heading
for or currently exists. In this apparatus, a time/positional information storing
part (104) stores time information and positional information. A blind spot
determining part (105) determines that a communication terminal apparatus,
which is requested for connection, exists outside a communicatable area when
no positional information is included in received signals and further when the
blind spot determining part receives, from another base station apparatus via
an upper-order station, terminal information to the effect that the requested
communication terminal apparatus cannot be located. When it is determined that
the connection-requested communication terminal apparatus exists outside
the communicatable area, a movement status estimating part (106) estimates,
based on the time information and positional information, the movement status
of the connection-requested communication terminal apparatus existing outside
the communicatable area. An external output part (108) outputs terminal information
to notify a connection-requesting communication terminal apparatus of the
movement status of the connection-requested communication terminal apparatus.
