Abstract:
Provided is a base station apparatus wherein a power saving can be performed and the power saving mode can be readily canceled at an optimum timing. A base station apparatus (100) of the present invention forms a smaller cell than the cell formed by a macro base station apparatus. A base station control information processing unit (104) receives a notification of cancelation of power saving mode from the macro base station apparatus via a wired transmission path or receives the telephone number or e-mail address of a transmission source as a notification of reception from the transmission source. A power saving mode control unit (107) cancels the power saving mode in response to the notification of cancelation of power saving mode or the notification of reception received by the base station control information processing unit (104) during the interval of the power saving mode.
