Abstract:
A small-zone radio communication system, and a base station control station device and radio terminal devices constituting the system, for maintaining a high channel capacity compatible with a geographical distribution of mobile stations capable of software hand-off. The base station control station device is provided with a transmission quality measuring means for measuring the transmission qualities of reception waves arriving from individual radio terminals to be subjected to software hand-off, and is constructed such that a maximum number N of radio channels which a radio base station can transmit in parallel is given as an allowable limit of interference for a radio zone formed by both or one of own station and another station during a process of channel control and up to the number N of radio channels are assigned to individual radio terminals which have transmitted the reception waves the transmission qualities of which have been measured via a radio base station which gives the transmission qualities in descending sequence.
