Abstract:
Provided is a base station device, a terminal device, a location server, and a communication method with which it is possible to improve positional estimation accuracy. A base station device comprising: a physical signal generation unit that generates a first positioning reference signal and a second positioning reference signal; and a transmission unit that transmits the first positioning reference signal and the second positioning reference signal to a terminal device, wherein the first positioning reference signal is mapped to one resource block, the second positioning reference signal is mapped to at least six resource blocks, each of the resource blocks are constituted by a predetermined subcarrier in a frequency domain, and the maximum number of consecutive subframes for transmitting the first positioning reference signal is greater than the maximum number of consecutive subframes for transmitting the second positioning reference signal.
