Abstract:

A base station device is provided with an encoding unit that determines a code block group number, splits an input bit string destined for code block segmentation into a number of code block groups corresponding to the code block group number, determines a code block number for each of the code block groups, splits each of the code block groups into a number of code blocks corresponding to the code block number therefor, and applies channel encoding to each of the code blocks.
