The purpose of the present invention is to provide a base station device, a terminal device and a communication method which are capable of suppressing an increase in a processing load on identification of each terminal device and signal detection of uplink data, a decrease in identification accuracy, and an increase in control information for identifying the terminal device in grant-free multiple access. A terminal device communicates with a base station device, and is provided with: a reception unit for receiving a multi-access signature process index from the base station device; and a transmission unit for transmitting a demodulation reference signal and an uplink physical channel, wherein the multi-access signature process index is information indicating an association of a mark identifying the uplink physical channel to be transmitted using grant-free access, and the transmission unit transmits the uplink physical channel subjected to processing based on the mark identifying the uplink physical channel associated with the demodulation reference signal.
